With the recent launch of Publinc Communities at Leumeah Hotel, The Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation were provided $3,200.
The money is helping to fund pediatric medical equipment for the local hospital and children’s community health programs. Venue Manager, Cameron Armstrong states he is “impressed with the local’s support of the Kids of Macarthur and goes to show how supportive the Macarthur community is as a whole” with the community now supporting the Kids Health Foundation for over 20 years.
The Publinc Communities program has allowed members to collaborate in supporting local community groups by pledging points. Leumeah Hotel was proud to match every point earned with a community point, inspiring members to pledge to their selected local group.
Leumeah Hotel also supports the Minto Cobras Junior Rugby League and Campbelltown Australian Football League by pledging points to both Clubs. In particular, the Junior Rugby Club has received significant support from members reinforcing the Communities ongoing support of local kids. The funds raised for the Club have helped cover the cost of equipment and player fees, assisting players in channeling their energy on the field and in reaching their sporting goals.
Total Community Points pledged today by Leumeah Hotel is $4,000. A truly inspiring example of community leadership and how together, we can make a difference.
