On Sunday 1st December, all NSW venues rallied together to fundraise for the Bush Fire Appeal and give back to the NSW RFS in a time of desperate need.
50c from every schooner sale went towards the fundraising efforts, raising over $3,000 to go directly to the states Rural Fire Service to help provide aid for the bushfire crisis and volunteer firefighters with disastrous fires now spanning from Brisbane to the South Coast of NSW.
On top of the appeal, venues have been accepting member donations in venue to give to their local RFS. Figtree bartenders, Kate and Alex have been extra busy this month, with both team members working for the RFS helping to protect homes and mitigate the risk of fires escalating. We’re incredibly proud that our venues are able to help give back to the legends working around the clock and that a few of them are a part of the Redcape family!
