Across Redcape, our people recently enjoyed not one, but two award nights celebrating numerous nominations at both the AHA and QHA Industry Awards.
The venue teams from Wattle and Shamrock Hotel attended the QHA Awards for Excellence in Queensland. Both venues were proud to be nominated for a range of hospitality awards and even more thrilled when Shamrock claimed a win for Best Gaming Venue for 2019! Congratulations to the passionate and dedicated team at Shamrock in consistently delivering an exceptional experience for your customers.
Multiple venue teams from across NSW joined guests from across Australia to celebrate the AHA Awards for Excellence at The Star Casino in Sydney. Having received a notable total of 36 nominations across food, beverage, gaming, community and individual categories, all teams were in high spirits after receiving four awards.
Eastwood was awarded Best Metropolitan Casual Dining (Northern) for the famous Jeans Chilli Chicken Restaurant, and El Cortez received Best Metropolitan Casual Dining (Southern) for Longs Chinese & Thai Restaurant. El Cortez also enjoyed a Highly Commended award for Best Metropolitan Gaming Venue for their excellence in gaming and service. Central Hotel Venue Manager, Jonathon Williams was awarded a very special award for a Highly Commended Industry Rising Star; a huge achievement and a well-deserved with Johnathon driving Central as the heartbeat of Shellharbour.
Given the excellent standard of nominees and very competitive judging process, this was a wonderful result and we couldn’t be proud of our teams for showcasing our values of Care, Collaboration and Courage in action. Congratulations to all nominees and winners, for your wonderful contribution to the industry and Redcape. Well done.
